The Clumsies in Athens, Greece has long been on our bar bucket list and we are excited to announce that we will be checking it off! Each year, the globally beloved bar (#7 on World’s 50 Best Bars) throws an epic outdoor pop-up under the Athens moonlight. This year will mark their 4th annual Pop Up and for 2019, The Clumsies will be hosting six of the world’s top tropical tiki style bars in their city on May 21st at Akanthus. Joining the party, we will have Dirty Dick (Paris), Lost Lake (Chicago), Smuggler’s Cove (San Francisco), Trailer Happiness (London), Estico (Miami) and their Athens neighbor, Baba Au Rum.
The special event will kick-off at 7:30PM until 11:30PM with each bar serving four of their signature tiki style cocktails for guests to enjoy under the moonlight by the beach. There will also be live music to keep the vibes grooving all night. Best of all, this very special event is FREE to attend (insert mind-blown emoji) drink chips will be available for 10 euros. Sounds epic, doesn’t it! Lelos Georgopoulos, Co-Owner of The Clumsies, shared about the event, “Each year this global Pop Up keeps getting bigger and our goal is to empower The Clumsies brand with these events outside of Greece and make some noise. But more importantly, is that The Clumsies empowers the locals through our brand. Last year over 1,000 people attended and they were nearly all Greek!”
