When you need a fun night out but don’t want to get too boozy, The Wild Son is the spot for you. Located under the Highline just steps from the Whitney Museum, The Wild Son – which recently debuted a new dinner menu – is serving delicious drinks with a low ABV aka alcohol by volume.
Created by owner Jason Mendenhall (part of the team behind The Wayland and Good Night Sonny), the low ABV drinks have been designed for the cocktail drinker who wants to sip something along with a meal. Highlights include the Smoked & Flipped with hickory smoked tawny port, lemon, chipotle agave, Angostura and egg and the Golden Shrub with Cocchi Americano, cappelliti and mango turmeric shrub.
Hungry? Try the Tuscan Kale with vegan breadcrumbs, the Raw Walnut Pate or the mussels.
This Meatpacking spot also offers a full breakfast and lunch menu, plus a selection of fresh juice and coffee.
