Author and spirit enthusiast Adam Ford dives into the history of the fortified wine and how it’s helped shape New York cocktail culture, along with a reception featuring vermouth cocktails and light bites. Mezcal faces off against smoky bourbon at “Smoke on the Water: A Smoky Mezcal vs. Whiskey Cocktail Showdown”, hosted by SquareWine & Spirits. El Buho Mezcal founder John Henry and American craft whiskey consultant Robin Robinson take guests on a journey of these smokey spirits, featuring demonstrations and a history of each liquor.
