Walnut Manhattan at The Bellwether

Now that summer is over and fall is upon us, it’s time to break out the boots and sweaters – and start sipping some autumn-friendly drinks. The Walnut Manhattan at LA’s Bellwether fits that bill.

Made with bourbon, Punt e Mes, walnut liqueur and bitters, this concoction is sure to put you in the fall weather mood.

“Every fall we offer a Walnut Manhattan at The Bellwether, which uses a walnut liquor made from double-distilled grape brandy infused with green walnuts, herbs, and spices,” says Beverage Director and co-owner Ann-Marie Verdi. “It is my favorite fall variation of our classic Manhattan. It reminds me that the seasons are changing, even if we are in Southern California.”

Walnut Manhattan Cocktail Ingredients

Walnut Manhattan at the Bellwether Los Angeles

  • 2 oz. Buffalo Trace Bourbon Whiskey
  • .5 oz. Punt e Mes
  • .5 oz. Nux Walnut Liqueur
  • 2 drops Angostura Bitters

Stir ingredients and pour into a bucket glass on ice. Garnish with two cherries.
