Where to Drink Bloody Marys in Downtown L.A. Right Now

We know you can find Bloody Mary’s at just about any brunch location, but in a city like Los Angeles – it can get a little tricky with all your options. If you find yourself in beautiful downtown Los Angeles, here are some boozy bloody mary spots to check out.

Eat Drink Americano

This New American gastropub is located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles’ hip art district. Their Bloody Mary Tudor is mixed with vodka, tomato juice and all the usual suspects like horseradish, Worchester and rimmed with bacon salt. How good does that sound? Very good. You can even toss another shot of vodka in there for just an extra $2!

Poppy + Rose

Once you hear what they call their Bloody Mary’s, you’re going to want to grab one. Because who wouldn’t want a drink called The Fried Chicken Mary? And yes, it absolutely does come with a piece of fried chicken. Using their own house bloody mary mix and topped with some wine-based vodka, this sure is a beauty – and a full meal in one cup.

Cole’s French Dip

While a French Dip restaurant may not appear to be the ideal place to grab a Bloody Mary, do not let Cole’s fool you. This historic downtown LA location not only has tasty food with a great menu, but they also make a memorable bloody mary. They use pickle juice straight from their own infamous pickles, with horseradish, tomatoes and a generous amount of spices that’ll leave you wanting more.

La Cita

Downtown LA is full of surprises, just like how you can find a delicious bloody mary in a dance club venue. Every Sunday, they host a Bloody Mary event called Sunday Bloody Sunday where you can come and build your own. They’ll pour it for you as you let them know what you want to include in your drink. Don’t like celery? No problem. More bacon? No problem. It’s your chance to get creative.
