Tuesday, October 13th:

The Presidential debates continue and Harlem Tavern is showing all of the Democratic Party political action. The National Action League hosts the viewing party where Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Martin O’Malley, Jim Webb and Lincoln Chafee will duke it out. The first 100 guests will get discounted specials on food and drinks.

Wednesday, October 7th:

We love going to the The NoMad for the delicious drinks and food – and now you can DIY at home. Chef Daniel Humm, bar director Leo Robitschek and partner Will Guidara lead the “NoMad Cookbook Panel Discussion” at the 92 Street Y, sharing recipes from The NoMad and signing copies of the tome afterward. Tickets start at $32, available here.

Friday, October 16th:

Sommelier Maegan Kovatch helps guests navigate the differences between brandies at the “Armagnac, Cognac, Calvados and Eau de Vie, Eau My!” event at SquareWine & Spirits in Long Island City, where sips of rare brandy – both straight and in cocktails – will be sampled. Tickets are $25, available here.

Saturday, October 17th:

Craft beer bar Bed-Vyne Brew celebrates four years of its sister shop, Bed-Vyne Wine, with a very special Oktoberfest event on a closed-off block of Putnam Avenue. Complete with food and drinks, the party will feature local vendors including The Jerk Shop and Subaltern Coffee Co., plus ten beers on tap from Keg and Cork: Ithaca Beer Co.’s Flower Power, Sly Fox’s Oktoberfest and Captain Lawrence’s Freshchester Pale Ale.

Drinking For A Cause

For the month of October, STK will offer a “Drink Pink” special at all locations around the country, donating a portion of the proceeds from their signature Strawberry Cobbler cocktail – made with Belvedere vodka, muddled fresh strawberries and a graham cracker crust rim – to breast cancer research.

Hotel Chantelle hosts the #BoobieBrunch on October 17th, featuring $0.92 specialty cocktails during brunch plus mimosas, bloody mary’s and bellinis for $4.92. The White Sangria punch bowl is $38. Additionally, $1 from every dish served throughout the month of October will be donated to Susan G. Komen Greater NYC in support of breast cancer awareness.
