White Castle To Start Selling Single Serving Coffee

They are already known for their delicious and addictive burgers. And now, White Castle is getting into the single-serving coffee game.

The fast food chain – which has been selling its bagged Original Restaurant Blend Coffee in grocery stores since 1996 – announced today that it will make it medium-roast coffee available in single-cup coffee pods for consumers to enjoy at home. The coffee is made with high-grade, 100% Arabica beans, and was one of the four original menu items at the chain’s first location in Wichita, Kansas in 1921.

“We’re thrilled to offer our ‘cravers’ the ease and convenience of the new single-serve coffee cups so those on the go can savor the taste of our premium blend,” said White Castle Vice President Jamie Richardson in a statement. “We are just as passionate about the process to achieve a great cup of coffee as we are about making our famous sliders.”

The new single-serve coffee pods will be sold in 12-packs at local grocery stores, in more than 400 White Castle restaurants, and through White Castle’s online store, and are compatible with brewers that accept K-Cup portion pods.
