Wynwood Mule at KYU

Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood is super hot right now – and there is no better way to cool off all summer long than with the refereshing Wynwood Mule from KYU.

This Instagram-ready cocktail is made with a blend of smoked pineapple, homemade ginger beer and vodka served over crushed ice in a custom tin can adorned with the eatery’s signature mural.

Steven Haigh, general manager and partner at KYU, worked with his team of mixologists to create the signature drink reflective of the restaurant and neighborhood beyond: the tin can that the Mule is served in pays homage to the ‘hood’s “soulful grit” while the smoked pineapple is the perfect compliment to Chef Michael Lewis’ wood-fire, Asian-inspired menu. Lastly, the recycle paper straw is a nod to KYU’s commitment to sustainability.

We’ll drink to that!
