Szechuan Margarita from Genghis Cohen
Genghis Cohen’s Beverage Director Yael Vengroff was named American Bartender of the Year at the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards. Blue Margarita from The Fountain
The Fountain is the latest addition to DTLA’s Corporation Food Hall. The Fountain’s intimate, 16-seat bar serves classically-inspired cocktails and craft beer and is the only drinking area in the eclectic food hall. Guests can bring their food from other vendors to The Fountain, sit at the bar and enjoy it with a drink. This boozy holiday, enjoy the Blue Monday Margarita, made with tequila, blue curacao, raspberries and lime, topped with a blue raspberry airhead. All drinks (including the equally awesome She’s My Cherry Limeade are served in recyclable cups so you can carry them throughout the food hall.

El Azulejo from Salazar
Set on the Los Angeles River, Salazar’s bar program includes tequila and mezcal-focused craft cocktails that pair perfectly with the restaurant’s Sonoran-style BBQ. The cocktails de barril (“on tap”) include the Mezcal Margarita with Verde Momentum mezcal, lime, and agave syrup with a citrus-salt rim.

Smokey Margarita from Madre
Madre, Torrance & Palms’ beloved Oaxacan eatery boasts over 300 bottles of mezcal and tequila at each location and will celebrate accordingly. On National Margarita Day, both locations will offer $9 on margaritas from 11 a.m. until midnight. Venice Boardwalk’s new favorite all-day spot, The Waterfront, features low ABV cocktails made with fermented spirits. The Waterfront Margarita is a great easy sipper made with tequila,lime, blue majik algae, cane sugar, orange bitters and lava salt. It’s best enjoyed during their sunset happy hour, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. when cocktails are just $7.

Chavito 2 Margarita at Minibar Hollywood
MiniBar Hollywood is a cool throwback style cocktail bar whose owner also opened 101 Coffee Shop in Hollywood and Little Dom’s in Los Feliz. The Chavito 2 Margarita is one of the best drinks on the menu and is made with reposado tequila, simple syrup, fresh lemon and lime and orange juices over ice with a cinnamon sugar rim.
