The 50 Best organization announced it is moving its North America's 50 Best Bars ceremony to Vancouver, Canada for 2025. The main event will take place on Tuesday, April 29th with a series of events and celebrations from April 28th - 30th with notable influential Bar Industry superstar guests from North America and global After launching its inaugural ceremony in New York, USA in 2022 then moving to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico for 2023 & 2024, the move to Vancouver brings it to Canada for the first time to reveal the 50 Best Bars in North America for 2025.

In partnership with Destination Vancouver, 50 Best will assemble the leading lights of the North American cocktail scene in the uber-cool Canadian city to celebrate their collective achievements, culminating with an awards ceremony on Tuesday 29 April.
Known for its rich cultural heritage and stunning natural beauty, the Pacific Northwest city has long-been one of the continent’s most sought-out destinations. Combined with a thriving and innovative cocktail scene, including two Vancouver bars featured in the 2024 ranking, the city is set for a packed programme of feasting, sipping and celebrating.

The 2025 edition of the ranking will see a number of exciting new additions to the programme, most notably the hotly anticipated debut of the extended 51-100 list a few weeks before the official awards ceremony, which means shining a spotlight on an even broader array of exceptional bars across the region. As with the 1-50 ranking, the 51-100 list will be decided by the votes of the North American Academy, comprising more than 300 bartenders, drinks writers and well-travelled cocktail experts.
The 2025 edition will also see the introduction of the Rémy Martin Legend of the List Award, bestowed upon the bar that has performed most consistently in the annual ranking since its inception. This will be revealed at the awards ceremony on Tuesday 29 April alongside the roster of remaining special accolades, such as the Bartenders' Bartender, Industry Icon Award, Best New Opening and Best Cocktail Menu Award.
In addition to the awards ceremony, other event highlights from the three-day celebration will include a 50 Best Signature Session – a one-time-only chance for local libation hunters and visiting drinks aficionados to experience the cocktail creations of an exciting collaboration between home-grown Canadian and international bar talent.
