The Iconoclast Dinner Experience James Beard House

On Saturday, June 6th, we headed to the revered James Beard House for The Iconoclast Dinner Experience which brought together food, wine and spirits masterminds to raise money for the Dr. Lezli Levene Harvell Scholarship for International Students at Spelman College.

The pre-dinner reception featured Napa Valley and South African wines, as well as four different cocktails created by Colin Asare-Appiah, the National Training Manager for Bacardi. The proceeds benefits students from Jamaica and sub-Sahara African countries in conjunction with The Dental Kidz Foundation.

In addition to Asare-Appiah, participants included:

  • Luvo Ntezo – Head Sommelier, One & Only Cape Town

The Dental Kidz Foundation

The Dental Kidz Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) not for profit organization which provides grants to support initiatives in education of females and initiatives in STEM education for under-represented minorities.
