We will be honest, sometimes Montauk seems far. Like, for real, for real far. There is a reason that they call it the End of the World. However, the bad asses at Ilegal Mezcal put together a Thursday series combining some of our favorite things in life so we couldn’t resist heading there.
Mezcal, Music & TIKI at The Montauk Beach House and Surf Lodge got us feeling some type of way. So, who wants in on this Jitney East because only a few weekends of summer left.

Ilegal Mezcal and their ink-saturated crew who live the brand are fueling your Thursdays in Montauk. The team produces The Ilegal Music Series, which has established roots in 5 venues across NYC, LA and Guatemala.
Join them every Thursday at The Montauk Beach House, starting at 6:30 p.m. for live music and pool vibes. Get there early so you can grab a chair by the pool!
We recommend grabbing the refreshing La Cucaracha cocktail created by head bartender Niko or opt for the brand’s Musician Breakfast staple, a shot of Ilegal Mezcal and a beer.
Once the music is over, the evening continues over at The Surf Lodge, where a rotating cast of bartenders from some of NYC and LA’s most iconic cocktail bars will be making drinks at the Ilegal Tiki Bar.
