Summer has come and gone but you can still day drink at Kingsley with the launch of their Bloody Mary bar every Sunday. With a contemporary French-American menu focused on local, market-driven food, the Bloody Mary bar and cocktail menu are the perfect complement to the atmosphere.
If you haven’t been to Kingsley on Avenue B yet, you need to go now. Not only did Chef Roxanne Spruance – a winner of Food Network’s Chopped – work with top chefs including WD-50’s Wylie Dufresne and Blue Hill’s Dan Barber but she is passionate about food and making sure the ingredients are locally-sourced, fresh and seasonal.
The Cocktails
But of course, we are here for the cocktails like the mezcal-based Oaxaca Smash and the Veruca Salt with Leblon cachaca, lemon balm, lemon and blueberries.
Build Your Own Bloody Mary Bar
Then, of course, is the aforementioned Bloody Mary Bar. Featuring 20 different toppings, guests get a pint glass with booze and are free to fill it up with Bloody Mary accoutrement, including bacon, cheese, shellfish and so much more. Sure, the Bloodies will set you back $14 but it’s basically a meal in a glass.
