Puerto Rico Cocktail Week (PRCW) is back for its fourth edition of the biggest cocktail event in the Caribbean from November 13 to 20. Returning with an action packed eight-day agenda with La Concha Resort with seminars, special events and PRCW initiatives & activities at bars around the island in support of the permanent PR Tip Jar emergency fund which supports the needs of hospitality industry workers in Puerto Rico during times of crisis.
This year, Barmania will part of PRCW on November 16th bringing Nectaly Mendoza and Joy Figueroa from Herbs & Rye in Las Vegas. Other international guests & speakers include – Tara Fougner, Co-Founder & CEO of Thirsty and one of the Drinks International Top 100 Most Influential personalities in the bar industry and honoree as one of the the Future 40 by Wine Enthusiast, Manolo López, Puerto Rican chef, producer, storyteller, and host of Identityatplay on Spotify and Frank Kurt and Joy Vargas – guest bartender from Employees Only NYC which is #47 on World’s 50 Best Bars list in 2022.
The bar community in Puerto Rico is still experiencing the after effects of Hurricane Fiona with the closure of bars and restaurants due to damage and power outages. Supporting Puerto Rico Cocktail Week goes to support the PRCW Tip Jar – The fund is currently open to applications from local workers in the hospitality industry in Puerto Rico who have been affected by the hurricane.
