WHAT TO DRINK AT SOUTH BEACH WINE & FOOD FESTIVAL 2022

The 21th annual Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (SOBEWFF®) will run live with over 70 festival events from Thursday, February 24 through Sunday, February 27, 2022.

The national, star-studded, four-day destination event showcases the talents of the world’s most renowned wine and spirits producers, chefs and culinary personalities. All net proceeds from the Festival benefit the Florida International University Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management.

WHAT TO DRINK + EAT AT SOUTH BEACH WINE & FOOD FESTIVAL 2022

Aside from fabulous wines, all spirits will be represented at the festival.  In fact, opening night events include the Calirosa Tequila Dinner -hosted by Adam Levine, Behati Prinsloo and Chef Scott Linquist at Moxy South Beach’s Como Como, and the Steak and Whiskey -hosted by Michael Symon as part of the Miami Design District Event Series.

DINERS DRIVE-INS AND DIVES LIVE

Guy Fieri brings his road trip show to SOBEWFF to take festival-goers on culinary tour some of the best “greasy spoon” eateries featured on the hit show.

Date + Time: Thursday, February 24, 7 pm until 9 pm

RED STRIPE BURGER BASH

The Festival’s beloved Burger Bash® is back, and hosted by TV personality chef Rachael Ray and José Andrés, Nobel Prize-nominated chef and TIME person of the year, for the most EPIC burger showdown -with plenty of Jamaica’s own refreshing lager at hand.

Date + Times: Friday, February 25, with two separate sessions: 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm -or- 8 pm until  10:30 pm

GOYA FOODS’ GRAND TASTING VILLAGE

This deluxe marquee SOBEWFF® event, featuring Grand Tasting Tents & Publix Culinary Demonstrations, is sponsored by Sub-Zero Group Southeast,  festival-goers will need to pace themselves as they stroll through an unending array of scents from 30 restaurants, from South Florida and beyond, that will tantalize their taste buds. Copious offering of wines and spirits from Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits will be ready to refresh guests.

And of course, a stellar cast of chefs and Food Network & Cooking Channel personalities — the newest stars and your beloved favorites — will be on hand as they hit the beach to prepare some of their signature flavor-packed dishes at the interactive Publix Culinary Demonstrations sponsored by Sub-Zero Group Southeast.

FOODVENTURE AT CITIZENS MIAMICENTRAL CULINARY MARKET

SOBEWFF® is making its way over to Citizens Miami, the new culinary market housed at Miami Central, the Brightline’s high-speed train station. Come explore Downtown’s newest dining hub during this walk around eating experience hosted by three-time NBA Champion and one of the most successful and most iconic players in Miami Heat history, Dwyane Wade.

Sam Nazarian and his team at C3 by sbe, opened Citizens Miami this past winter which features a 26,000 square foot, 16-stall culinary market featuring C3’s popular culinary brands including EllaMia, Umami Burger, and Plant Nation.

This early evening soirée, will feature culinary creations perfectly executed by chefs that span the globe – chefs including ‘Chef’s Table’ star Dario Cecchini and ‘Iron Chef’ Masaharu as well as South Florida’s own  culinary stars. Plus, wines from Wade Cellars and delicious cocktails from the Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits portfolio.

HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS

In an effort to keep attendees, staff, talent and the community safe, and in accordance with current State of Florida COVID-19 guidelines, all participants at all event venues will be required to complete a digital health screening through SymCheck™.

Plus, attestation of either: a negative COVID-19 test no more than 72 hours prior to the event OR completed vaccination. Proper mask usage will be strongly encouraged.  Anyone presenting symptoms on arrival will be denied entry.

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION

Miami Beach has metered street and lot parking as well as parking garages throughout the city. However, parking is always challenging on South Beach. Free citywide trolley service will be available during the Festival, and will operate 15 hours a day, from 8 am to 11 pm; daily at approximately 30-minute average service frequency along each route. Prepared to walk -on sand as well as city sidewalks, so wear appropriate footwear. Bon appetit and cheers!
