A Look Inside Rosella Coffee Shop, Now Open on Lower East Side

Just weeks after announcing their impending opening, Rosella Coffee Shop is now open on the Lower East Side, at 23 Clinton Street. The brand new java joint debuted early this morning, just blocks away from its sibling Bluebird Coffee, on East 1st Street.

According to Bowery Boogie, Rosella – from owner Alexander Hall, who also owns Brooklyn’s Milk Bar and is working on two Australian-style cafes called Brunswick (one in South Slope and one in Bed Stuy) – has a decidedly more upscale feel than Bluebird, complete with exposed brick and a wall of greenery. Also, avocado toast, which seems to be popping up on every coffee shop menu in the city.

Hours are 7 am til 6 pm.
