If your astrological sign is a Scorpio, you should celebrate the season with a signature cocktail, crafted by bartenders at The Rosina Cocktail Lounge, Dorsey Cocktail Bar and Electra Cocktail Club — also known as The Cocktail Collective — inside The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.
“At The Cocktail Collective, we like to play around with pairings of American whiskey, rum, and tropical liqueurs with cocktails like the King Kong (at The Dorsey) and the Coal Train (at Rosina) – both Old Fashioned variations,” said Evan Hosaka, lead bartender at Electra Cocktail Club. “The Scorpio zodiac cocktail also plays around with these spirit pairings except it’s a riff on the classic cocktail, the Manhattan.”
The cocktail is inspired by the water sign Scorpio which is resourceful, brave, passionate and often tied to the color red, The base spirits represent the loyal yet passionate traits of a Scorpio while the mysteriousness of this water sign lies within Antica Carpano’s secret vermouth recipe.

The Scorpio recipe + preparation
- 1.5 oz Rye
- .5 oz Jamaican Rum
- .5 oz Amaro Ciocaro
- .5 oz Carpano Antica
- 2 dashes of Absinthe
- Maraschino Cherry
Add all ingredients to a shaking tin, add ice, and shake well. Fine strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a maraschino cherry.
