Cafe Americano is now open on the Upper East Side, from Tom and Anthony Martignetti, the same sibling duo behind spots including Brinkley’s Broome Street, The East Pole and Pizza Beach. This new cafe and cocktail lounge will be open from 7 am for breakfast (they have a La Marzocco espresso machine, natch) and lunch, and then serve cocktails and light bites until 2 am, daily.

“As Upper East Side residents, Tom and I feel we have captured exactly what the neighborhood has needed for a while,” explains Anthony Martignetti. “Cafe Americano will be a great destination for people to enjoy whether meeting friends for coffee and breakfast, a drinks date or nightcap after dinner, or for pre and post-benefit cocktails.”

The cocktail program includes Italian classics including a variety of Spritzes – Aperol and Cynar, to name a couple – as well as Negronis and other variations of the drinks you love.
