On a recent trip to Houston, we made the wise decision of having lunch with a group of friends at Ka Sushi. Obviously, we sat at the bar and while we fully enjoyed the cuisine, it was cocktails on our minds and when we see a blue drink, we order a blue drink. The Nami cocktail combines the vanilla and spiced oak hints of Monkey Shoulders with the cinnamon herbal notes of Becherovka Czech liqueur and citrus of the blue curacao that balance with the creamy and silky texture of the coconut cream, Lime juice for acidity and Spirulina to obtain the beautiful Cyan blue color.

Nami Cocktail at Ka Sushi
NAMI COCKTAIL RECIPE
- 1.5oz Monkey Shoulder
- .25oz Becherovka
- 1.0oz Coconut Cream Syrup
- .5oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 1/64 tsp Blue spirulina
Garnish: Fresh assorted edible flowers
Glass: Tall Collins
Shake heavily to prevent saucy lumps from the spirulina and coconut cream. Combine all ingredients without Ice, once incorporate add cubed ice and shake, pour over crushed ice into tall zombie glass.
