There is nothing better than a refreshing iced coffee to get the morning started – or as a much-needed afternoon pick-me-up. Here are some of the best spots to get your chilled java fix in LA’s Koreatown. Happy sipping!

Go Get Em Tiger

Fun fact: the team at Go Get Em Tiger makes their own macadamia nut milk and then mixes it into an iced latte. It may be pricey but it’s worth the try because theres nothing like it – light, sweet and refreshing with a smooth finish. Warning: it can get super crowded on the weekends but early bird so it’s nice to have a latte, people watch and write down random thoughts as they come! 230 N Larchmont Blvd, gandb.coffee, @ggetla

Pho 2000

It may not look like much from the outside but this is a Korean-run pho spot with the best Vietnamese iced coffee around.Open at 8am – for those who want pho before work, this place is a god send – the Vietnamese iced coffee is strong, sweet and will wake you up instantly. It’s a hidden Koreatown gem. 215 N Western Ave.

This bakery is a pre-work favorite in the ‘hood. They open at 7am and have such an incredible pastry selection, plus the mixed iced coffee here is truly love at first sip, especially if you love your coffee sweet. If you prefer less sugar, ask for half-mixed black and thank us later. You’ll never know how they make it; you’ll just know it’s really damn good once you have it. 3470 W 6th St., www.parisbaguetteusa.com, @parisbaguette_usa

Alchemist Coffee Project

The New Orleans Iced at Alchemist Coffee Project will keep you coming back again and again. Perfect for getting some work done, they have marble countertops or like the ones here (best flat-lays are taken next to a window #blogger life) and super-fast internet, along with a (rare) parking lot right in the middle of Ktown. A hint of chicory, plus the creamy and refreshingly delicious combination of milk and coffee – makes each sip more special than the last. 698 S Vermont Ave., alchemistcp.com, @alchemistcp

Cafecito Organico

Tucked away in a corner of the neighbor lives this amazing getaway for yummy iced java. The backyard gets you in the most relaxing mood – can come here to read a book or put on headphones and just enjoy the outdoors – and is the perfect getaway from the busy city and overplayed minimalist coffee shops. Pro tip: get the iced coffee and add half & half and maple syrup. Kind of DIY, incredibly amazing. 534 N Hoover St., cafecitoorganico.cratejoy.com, @cafecitoorganico
